Founded in 1991, the cheese dairy Les Blancs d’Arcadie is a proud icon of the Acadian peninsula. Establish in Caraquet, the shop started out with goat cheese from their own herd. In 2004, when Alberte Doiron took over the business, she aims to meet consumers taste and produce exclusively cheddar cheese from local cow milk. As time went by, the cheese production strives to offer a diversity of products with undeniable popularity among the regional and provincial markets.
Often praised by the critics and decorated the Business of the year 2009, Les Blancs d’Arcadie continue to stand out by the exceptional quality of their product that can be found all around, in grocery stores, at markets and in the flavorful dishes of many restaurants.
